How does Dental Care Powder work?

Our Dental Care Powder works by mixing with your pet’s saliva to coat each individual tooth, without the need for brushing. Simply sprinkle over your pet’s food, twice a day, to maintain healthy teeth and gums between dental cleanings.

How much powder should I give my dog, and how often?

For most pets, we recommend giving 1/4 teaspoon of powder per 15 pounds of body weight, twice per day. If your pet is under 15 pounds, you may want to work up to the full amount over time.

I’ve read that not all zeolites are safe. What kind do you use?

Our Dental Care Powder contains only clinoptilolite, a natural, non-fibrous zeolite, developed for oral application. We do NOT use fibrous zeolites like erionite and some modernite, which can cause issues if inhaled.

Should I give this preventively even if my dog does not have bad teeth?

Absolutely! Most pets will require regular dental cleanings by the time they are 3 years old; by using our Dental Care Powder, you may be able to prevent plaque before buildup occurs.

Can I pair this product with other supplements?

Yes! Dental Care Powder can be paired with other VetriScience products, such as Healthy Hip & Joint chews, Spine & Disc, or Calm & Confident chews. As always, consult your veterinarian before making changes to your petcare regimen.
