How to Measure

The X-Small (or Mini) GingerLead, is typically for smaller breed dogs, cats, kittens, under 25 lbs, and DACHSHUNDS. The support pad is 1.5″ wide x 6″ long. Straps adjust from 28″ – 69″ long. CHEST HARNESS NOT INCLUDED.

Pad Width

Measure from the front of the hind legs to the base of the rib cage to determine the support pad width.

Girth

The sling buckles around your dog and is fully adjustable for the girth of any pet.

Our premium, patented dog slings were created for a Golden Retriever, you guessed it, named Ginger. Born with hip dysplasia, Ginger endured her fair share of adversity as both a puppy and as a sweet, old dog. Our personal experiences with Ginger inspired us to help others during these difficult stages of our furry family members lives.

The GingerLead’s patented design integrates a padded dog sling with a leash & handle to help dogs with mobility, balance and stability. OUR INSPIRATION – The experiences helping our 6 month old Golden Retriever puppy, Ginger, recover from reconstructive hip surgery for severe hip dysplasia, then knee surgery a few years later, was the inspiration for our patented design.
