Does the dog bed need time to expand after opening?

Yes. The bed gets compressed tightly for shipping, so it won’t be at full thickness straight out of the box. Just set it in a warm, airy spot and let it breathe. We recommend giving it a full 72 hours to completely regain its shape and thickness.

What’s the top fabric like?

The top is a soft, short-pile fabric – cozy to the touch, but without the long, fluffy fibers that catch dirt, hair, burrs, and all that outdoor gunk. That short pile also makes it way easier to keep clean.

Is the dog bed waterproof?

Cover has a water-resistant finish, plus an extra TPU waterproof layer to guard against light splashes and small spills. Foam is wrapped in waterproof inner liner, too. While for heavy spills, please take the cover off and wash it promptly
